Typically, The Narrative & Reflection Project will be an activity that is available to only paid subscribers of The BW Printing Press. However, I felt like it was right to make the first three issues (May/June, June/July, and August) available to everyone.
This edition is purely reflective prompts—just felt best this way. This isn’t an opportunity to for you to feel embarrassed, but rather, an opportunity for you to share your version of the human experience—which we all share in common.
THE NARRATIVE & REFLECTION PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
The only guardrail that I’m establishing is that your stories cannot exceed five paragraphs (3-5 sentences per paragraph). You don’t have to strive for five paragraphs; you just can’t do more than five paragraphs.
That is the only requirement, but I do hope that you will take time throughout the week to think about the weekly prompt. And I do hope that you will share your story with us each Friday night.
REFLECTION PROMPTS
1. If you could re-live any day, what day would it be and why?
2. What’s been your favorite thing about summer 2025?
3. With the fall season on the horizon, what’s one word that will be your north star for the season?
4. What are your top five songs from 2025 and why?
5. Who’s your favorite character from the tv show Martin? Why is this character your favorite and how does it connect your current personality?
I will be posting my responses each week on Friday at 7:30PM, Central. I really do hope that you join in on the project because I’m excited to see inside of your mind. But also, don’t feel pressured to share each week—post when it is best for you.
