It’s been a few months since I made a post introducing The Narrative & Reflection Project—what it is about and the guidelines for each week’s response. You can read that post here.
Typically, The Narrative & Reflection Project will be an activity that is available to only paid subscribers of The BW Printing Press. However, I felt like it was right to make the May/June 2025 Edition available to everyone.
THE NARRATIVE & REFLECTION PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
The only guardrail that I’m establishing is that your stories cannot exceed five paragraphs (3-5 sentences per paragraph). You don’t have to strive for five paragraphs; you just can’t do more than five paragraphs.
That is the only requirement, but I do hope that you will take time throughout the week to think about the weekly prompt. And I do hope that you will share your story with us each Friday night.
NARRATIVE PROMPTS
1. You have one short day in the Emerald City with your best friend. What would you do to enjoy it?
2. You’ve been chosen to be President of The United States for a day. You can only enact laws that would make things fun. How would you make sure that the entire country had a big party during your day of being POTUS?
REFLECTION PROMPTS
1. What is one thing that stood out to you from Christmas 2024?
2. What are two accomplishments from April 2025 that you are proud of?
I will be posting my responses each week on Friday at 7:30PM, Central. I really do hope that you join in on the project because I’m excited to see inside of your mind. But also, don’t feel pressured to share each week—post when it is best for you.
